Support Memories, A Story About Grief by Ana Butze
Donation protected
Hello Everyone! My name is Ana Butze, I am a senior at DePaul University studying Film and Television with a concentration in Showrunning. I am so excited to be making my directorial debut for my short film titled “Memories”. This film is my personal story of my journey through my young adult life grieving the world around me. Grief is something we all experience from losing a friend, to our first heartbreak, to thinking back on old memories, to even a heartbreaking death of a loved one. When I lost my brother to cancer when I was a senior in high school, I turned to the world of storytelling as a form of expression. I am making this to encapsulate my journey of perseverance as well as allow myself to be vulnerable in expressing my emotions through some of the hardest moments of my life. As a person that wears her heart on her sleeve, it is an honor to tell this story to showcase the highs and lows of grief as a young adult.
We would love your support in helping reach our goal of $1800. By donating to our project, you are helping provide many necessities that go into a production. From providing meals to a very hardworking cast and crew, production design, transportation, and much more.
We sincerely appreciate any and all donations, no matter how big or small. To continue to support, please follow along to our Instagram @memoriestheshortfilm.
