For those who are not aware, my life-long friend and brother Melvin Royal is in a battle with duodenal adenocarcinoma, a rare but potentially aggressive cancer that develops in the small intestine. He is currently undergoing his second round of chemo, and while the cancer is responding to treatment and the prognosis is good, unfortunately the bills are piling up even with help from insurance.
