Hello, my name is Melvin, a little over a year ago I was hit the word that no person/family ever wants to hear Cancer (Multiple Myeloma) My life as I have know it has forever been changed mind, body and sprit. I have worked since I was 14 and loved to work and take care of my family. I started to notice a small back pain that became larger and larger once I went to the Dr. it was no big deal, we just figured I had pulled a muscle or something until the pain became unbearable and i could barely wall. Had a MRI done on a Monday morning was sure I would hear from my Dr. later that week but he called me the same afternoon showed me the scan and told my wife and I the news. Our world changed that day more test, appointments and pain and really just trying to figure out the Cancer world. I had taken short term leave from work to have some income, I ended up having a steam cell transplant, hospital stay etc.. and once my short term was up my company let me go from my job of 10yrs (income/healthcare) I have nearly exhausted my life savings, 401k, friends and family just to continue to to survive. I have filed for disability because I can’t work but I am still waiting. Asking for your help any amount would be a blessing. Please continue to keep myself and my family in your prayers.
