Most people around know Mel. She has been a (the best) server at the Country Kettle for 25+ years. She is diabetic and has C.O.P.D. She went into the doctor for gallbladder pain. Her gallbladder has been removed. After other tests and scans they said her mitral valve needs to be replaced.

She won't have heart surgery until the first week in December.
