Support Mel's Journey to Recovery

On Thursday, April 11, Mel Phelps was in an ATV wreck. She fractured her neck and was taken by ambulance to TMC, then by careflight to Medical City Plano Spine and Brain Center. She has had three surgeries since the accident.

Anyone who knows Mel knows that she is strong beyond measure and has a bright, warm spirit that draws you in. Mel is a fighter and there is possibility for a full recovery.

As you can imagine, this will be a marathon (not a sprint) and there will be medical bills coming soon. As we know, medical bills, time lost from work, and traveling back and forth from the hospital create big financial challenges.
