In early April 2026, my sister Mel, a young mother of 2, heard the words no one wants to hear “were looking at cancer here.”

Mel was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer after an initial PET scan has shown to have further lymph node involvement. Mel will begin on a journey soon of intense chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments while still trying to work and provide the necessities for her boys, Nathan and Noah.

Cancer is not only a mental and physical burden, but a heavy financial one as well, especially on a single mother. Our goal in this is to assist in any and all medical costs: chemotherapy, radiation, lab work, scans, surgery, and immunotherapy treatment. Along with day to day expenses and bills, during treatment and through recovery process.

Melissa has a true heart of gold and we believe she will overcome this challenge before her, as she has done with many challenges in her life before.
