Help Melo Walk Again

One day, Melo was happily playing in the park like he always does — full of life, energy, and joy. The very next day, everything changed. While trying to eat, Melo suddenly collapsed and lost the ability to use his back legs.

Melo isn’t just a dog — he’s the best of boys. He’s touched the hearts of everyone who’s met him, and he means everything to me.

Late on April 13th, he was rushed to the emergency room, where he was diagnosed with Stage 4 IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). He needed emergency surgery to repair his spine — his only chance to walk again and live the normal, happy life he deserves.

Melo fought through surgery and is now on the long road to recovery. While we are hopeful, the journey ahead will require extensive care, including hospitalization and physical therapy to help him regain the use of his back legs.

We are asking for support to help cover the cost of his surgery and hospital stay, so I can focus on what matters most — getting Melo the physical therapy and care he needs to walk again.

This has been an incredibly tough and emotional time for Melo, for me, and for everyone who loves him. Melo is my best friend — anyone who knows us knows the bond we share.
