Support Melonie's Journey to Knee Recovery

Hi, my name is Melonie Carrington and I have lived in North Idaho my whole life. I love being out in nature, riding bikes, swimming, and just enjoying this beautiful life the Lord has given me. Unfortunately, that all came to a standstill about 15 years ago when I had to have my first two knee surgeries to repair my meniscus on my right knee.

Since then, I have been able to regain strength back in that knee and have been able to continue riding bikes and being semi-active. I am now faced with the same surgery on my right knee and have no way to pay for the surgery. I am currently working at Home Depot part-time because I cannot stand for long periods of time. My activities have been cut to almost non-existent because of my knees. I am very thankful to Home Depot for letting me continue working; without that, I wouldn't have income.

I will have the original cost of the surgery and the downtime that I'm going to be away from work for about 3 weeks with only one income coming in and these days, that just doesn't cover bills.
