Support Melody's Fight Against Stage 3 Cancer

If you’re reading this, you likely know Melody, or you know somebody that knows Melody. And whether you know or know of her, chances are you have heard about the kind of human she is. Whether she is donating her time and talent to an event through her company: The Face Paint Lady, volunteering and raising money for Veterans with the Rockabetties, taking in and sheltering houseless individuals and displaced families, caring for animals on her farm, or making absolute magic as Mrs.Claus each and every Christmas season - there is no denying that Mel has a heart of gold. Her friends and family could add a million things to that list, starting with what a wonderful Mom she is to her four kids.

As you can see, Mel is a wearer of many hats. She carries the world on her shoulders, and most of the time, does it quite effortlessly. Unfortunately, that world just got a whole lot heavier and she could really use our help.

Melody was recently diagnosed with inoperable cervical cancer. She is currently waiting to have a PET scan done which will give more insight into just how bad it is, and will help her and her family to be able to determine a treatment plan. The medical bills are already overwhelming them, and income is being lost as well. It’s a double whammy, all while dealing with deteriorating health, pain, and of course, fear.

Any donation that you are able to make will make such a big difference for Melody and her family at this difficult time. For all the years I have known her, she has been the helper. She has been the magic. She has been the hand for people to hold. I know she’s personally been all of those things for me, more times than I can count. Can we please be that for her right now? Can we help take some of the weight off her shoulders? Can we give her the same love that she has given so many of us? I sincerely hope so.
