Support Melody's Fight Against Cancer

Melody is 17 years old and was diagnosed 3 weeks ago with an extremely aggressive malignant brain tumor, likely glioblastoma. In the past 3 weeks her parents have watched their perfectly normal teenage daughter suddenly and drastically spiral downhill. Melody is in children's hospital pediatric intensive care on life support after having 3 strokes in 36 hours and coding. She has bleeding on the brain so they had to drill into her head and put in a drain to relieve the pressure to save her life and buy her a couple more days. Her family was encouraged to bring clergy and family which they have done in the event that they may lose their little girl as she is in critical condition. The family was told to prepare that the worst is yet to come, and if she survives the next week THEN they can begin talking about the highly aggressive cancer in her head that started it all, which the doctors have already said is inoperable and growing rapidly.

I know the family very well and Melody's parents do not want to ask for help but their resources and savings are limited and being depleted at a rate that will rival the spread of the cancer. They agreed to allow a GoFundMe to be setup to assist the family with their enormous expenses and bills so they can focus on caring for their little girl. I have watched this family support their community for years through everything from wildlife rehabilitation to disaster relief and I know the community will step up to help them!
