With the passing of our beloved John Krisko, the Krisko family has been put in a hard spot and could use our help paying some of his debts/bills. Anything helps. Donations will go directly to John’s mom, Melody Krisko.
John Krisko, affectionately known as “Pip,” passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 21 in Hallstead, Pennsylvania.
John was a talented and passionate chef at The Montrose Inn, where he took great pride in his craft and was known for his dedication and work ethic. He also was a proud member and volunteer fireman at the Snake Creek Fire Department. Beyond his professional life, he enjoyed hiking, physical fitness, and spending time in nature—pursuits that reflected his appreciation for life's simple, grounding pleasures.
John will be remembered most for his kindness, his sense of humor, and the genuine warmth he brought to every interaction. His presence brightened the lives of those around him, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him.
He is predeceased by his father, Nicholas A. Krisko. He is survived by his mother, Melody; three sisters, Melody, Ryder, and Angela; a brother-in-law, Avon; three nephews, Revyn, Jystus, and Jaxon; and a niece, Kyleece. His bonus family from California and Niagara Falls includes Marie, Jason, and Cohen. His loving and dedicated dog, Apollo, and cats, Jasmine and Willow. Two bonus moms, Brenda and Beckie Rose, and numerous friends, too many to mention, will forever cherish his memory.
John's life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and a lasting impact on his family and friends. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
