Support Melody (deBoer) Carter and Family

In December 2020, Melody was diagnosed with stage 4 malignant metastatic melanoma. It invaded her brain and lungs as well as multiple abdominal organs. Over the past several months she has undergone multiple treatments including radiation and immunotherapy.  She and her family appreciate everyone's thoughts, prayers, and healing vibes. 

Earlier this week we learned that despite the doctors' best efforts, and the numerous people praying for her, the cancer has proven to be incredibly aggressive. Once her body is strong enough, the doctors will start one final round of treatments, focusing as well on pain management and providing Melody with the best possible quality of life in the time she has left. As of now, the prognosis is this will be about three months, though we are all praying for a miracle with the final treatment.

Looking ahead, Melody, Adam, Vance and Zara have a tough road in front of them. Melody's wish is to spend her time at home, surrounded by loved ones. This requires adjustments to their home, and special equipment. To help the family with these and any other unexpected expenses, and to allow Adam and the kids to spend as much time as possible with Melody, we are setting up this go-fund-me to support them financially.  Additionally, it is Melody's hope to be able to set up an education fund for Vance and Zara.
