Our Story — Building Melo from the Ground Up

Melo isn’t a corporate giant or a venture-backed powerhouse — we’re a small, independent team building this project the way many great ideas begin: from a garage, with passion, persistence, and belief in the mission.

Our goal is simple — to create meaningful tools that help people better understand their health, make informed wellness decisions, and connect with resources that support their personal journey. Because we are self-funded and operating on a shoestring budget, every contribution — no matter how small — truly makes a difference in helping us move this project forward.

Phase 1 Progress — What We’ve Built So Far

We’re proud to share that Phase 1 of the Melo app is well underway. Our primary focus has been developing our Condition-Based Functionality, which allows users to explore wellness conditions and access organized, science-informed educational insights and supplement guidance in a clear, approachable format.

We’ve also begun introducing one of our most exciting new features — the Melo Map — designed to help users connect with locations, retailers, and resources within the wellness community as our platform continues to expand.

These developments represent countless hours of effort from a very small team working with limited resources — and seeing this progress come to life has been incredibly meaningful.
