Hi everyone, my name is Jeimy and I’m here asking for help for my sweet 12-week-old Havanese puppy, Melly.

Melly is a playful, loving little girl who means the world to me. Recently, there was an incident where she started throwing up blood and had to be rushed to the emergency vet. After X-rays and tests, they discovered bleeding in her lungs. She was placed in oxygen to support her lungs and help her out. She stayed overnight in critical care to stabilize her breathing.

Her first emergency vet bill came to $5,000, which was paid to save her life because giving up wasn’t an option. Thankfully, Melly made it through the night, and she’s now stable and eating again.

However, her doctors noticed Melly is circling and showing signs that something may be affecting her brain. They strongly recommend an MRI, which is estimated to cost around $7,000 to determine if there is underlying neurological damage—possibly a stroke, trauma, or other causes related to her lung injury. The MRI will help guide her treatment and give us a clear path to get her happy, healthy self.

I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t cover these next steps alone. This is why I’m asking for help.

Our goal is $12,000 to cover:

- The $5,000 for the first round of treatment, which included X-rays, medications, and the 24 hours of oxygen.

- The $7,000 estimated cost of the MRI and additional treatment.

- And a small portion to offset GoFundMe's transaction fees.
