My niece Meliuska is 8 years old with brain cancer. We are in desperate need of help to try and save her life. She needs surgery to remove the cancer. She lives in Brazil.
As her aunt, a single mom, I have been a financial support to them, but I don’t have the funds to pay for the surgery. She has been through chemotherapy, 30 rounds in 2 years. I am currently filing for bankruptcy because in Brazil, where she is, they are from Venezuela, it doesn’t cover everything. I am extremely sad and scared for what is to come.
If we get the money for the surgery, there is a chance she can live, and if she does pass away, we at least tried everything we could and we would still need funds to transfer her body to Venezuela to be buried next to her father, my brother, who passed away 7 years ago. The Bible says that if you ask you shall receive, so I am not asking, I am begging for help. Time is running out; they are saying if she doesn’t get the surgery, we only have 2 months left with her. She’s a child full of life. Please, I hope you find it in your heart to help us.
