My name is Melissa, and I am reaching out for support as I recover from a series of major neck surgeries. Most recently, I underwent a procedure where four rods and eleven screws were placed in my neck. The recovery process has been challenging, and I am currently staying in a nursing home to receive the care I need. Every day, I am working hard to regain my strength and learn how to walk again, but the journey has been difficult both physically and emotionally.

While the nursing home provides some basic necessities, there are many essential hygiene items that I need and are not fully covered. Things like shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, razors, deodorant, body spray, baby wipes, and face wash are important for my comfort and well-being, but they add up quickly and are hard to afford on my own. In addition to these items, the costs of staying in the nursing home have created a financial burden that I am struggling to manage.
