Hello everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my sister. My 20-year-old sister Melissa, the youngest of three daughters, traveled with our father to explore the mountains in Peru. What was meant to be a special journey turned into a tragedy when their van fell into an abysm. Our dad passed away, and Melissa is now in the hospital fighting for her life. She is currently in the ICU after a serious accident and is fighting for her life. She remains on a ventilator, and we are praying for a miracle so she can breathe on her own. She has a spinal cord injury and will need surgery soon, followed by long-term therapy for her recovery. Unfortunately, her insurance is very limited and does not cover all the expenses. Melissa means everything to me. She is my little sister, full of hope and dreams, and our family is doing everything we can to support her. Our family has had to stop working to stay by her side and monitor her condition every day.

Finally, my father, in spirit, is by her side, taking care of her and guiding her toward a full recovery. He never abandoned his daughters, and he never will—especially not his youngest, now when she needs him the most.
