With my tail between my legs, I am asking for help.
We all know that life is expensive and so is moving. I basically live paycheck to paycheck (even with 2 jobs) and have prided myself on always providing for myself, but I've had some unexpected expenses come up in the process of this move.
Some back story if you're not aware:
My name is Melissa and almost 3 weeks ago, I got approved (to rent) the townhome of my dreams! I LITERALLY breathed a sigh of relief when I got the approval email because the whole process of my last move 2 years ago was so stressful in every way. I have not had a good experience where I live now at all, but at the same time, I had been absolutely dreading the idea of having to do the whole process again. This time around, everything so far has just felt RIGHT. I can't explain it. I've been waiting years to be able to have a place where I can put down some roots, stay awhile, and not have to worry about moving every 3ish years. It may not end up being my forever home, but I'm hoping it will be my for-a-long-while home.
If you feel moved to donate, here's what it's going directly to:
- My move-in deposit for the new townhouse
- Moving out expenses for my current apartment
- Other general moving expenses (U-Haul rental, etc.)
