My name is Melissa, and if any of you know me personally, I can never say no to a cat in need. I have also become aware of some very kind and generous ladies that work tirelessly in and around the Penn Yan area, working on getting the local feral population spayed/neutered and vaccinated. This helps keep them from reproducing and also helps reduce the risk of sickness like distemper and rabies from overtaking the community and our own personal pets.

I have personally funded three momma cats and their litters of kittens, all from Penn Yan in 2024. The generous ladies in Penn Yan, whom I will leave anonymous, pay to have cats spayed/neutered and vaccinated out of their own pockets. My hope for this GoFundMe is to establish that there is a true need and work to get support on a local level to help in these efforts!
