Support Melissa's Memorial and Family Needs

This is Khloey, Melissa's daughter. We are starting this GoFundMe to raise funds to help pay for my mother's memorial and celebration of life for after she passes, as well as her wishes to be cremated. There is financial hardship with having to miss work during this time, so these funds will help support that gap as well.

An update on my Mom's condition:

My mother is very quickly reaching the end of her journey. She has been in the ICU/critical care unit for 3 weeks now receiving care for septic shock from multiple infections that have reached her blood. Her medical team has aggressively fought these infections with every treatment possible, but her body has not responded. They estimate she has anywhere from days to absolute maximum, weeks. She is now only being treated for comfort as she passes on. She is currently still with us, and we are cherishing every moment that we get to spend with her before she passes - but we want to be prepared for when the moment comes to be able to give her the beautiful memorial she deserves.

Why we are asking for financial support:

As my mom's primary caregiver, I have had to miss weeks of work, which has financially put me in a very difficult spot. My mother leaves behind two other children, my siblings Khayla (15) and Khayden (12). In order to support them, myself, and my mother's memorial and cremation costs, we are asking for help from those who are able to provide it during this time. We know the holiday season is hard for many people financially already, so we are grateful for every penny that is provided to us to support.
