This fundraiser is set up to benefit our dear friend Melissa as she conquers cancer. She has gone above and beyond for her family, friends, and clients throughout her life time. Now, it is our turn to support and love on her. Please read her story below:

My name is Melissa Huk, and I have been a licensed realtor in San Diego County for nearly 30 years, always working hard to support myself and serve my clients with my whole heart. Recently, my life changed very suddenly. I underwent brain surgery to remove a brain tumor, and while I am grateful the tumor was removed, the recovery has been overwhelming. I have also lost all eyesight in my left eye, and I am now facing Stage III cancer treatment, including a daily six-week radiation regimen beginning immediately.

As someone who has always been independent and relied solely on my own income, it is difficult to ask for help. But this season of healing will require me to be out of work for the next few months, and the financial strain is growing quickly. Funds raised will help cover medical bills and treatment costs, daily transportation to radiation appointments, household expenses while I’m unable to work, and ongoing recovery needs and support.

Any amount, any share, and any prayer means more than I can express. Your kindness will help me focus on what matters most right now: healing, regaining strength, and moving forward. Thank you for standing with me during this unexpected fight.
