Support Melissa's Friend Battling Cancer

Hello, my name is Melissa and I have started a go fund me for a dear friend Christine Conti and her family. Christine was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer a few months ago. Christine is a registered nurse who spent her entire life caring for others. She served in the United States Army at a young age and went on to become a nurse serving her community for years after. For those who know Christine she was the type of person who would lighten the mood and make anyone feel welcome and comfortable. You could drop her in a room with strangers and she would have every kid climbing on her, adults chatting with her like they knew her for years and leave with a handful of new friends. Christine has raised two wonderful kids Brianna and Joey and has devoted her entire life to being their mother. Raising two children as a single mom and always putting their best interest first was her priority. It has been a honor to call Christine one of my best friends. She is that ride or die type of friend that would go to the earths end to help someone. She makes everyone feel loved and safe. Anyone who has been lucky enough to have her in their lives are blessed. Christine was so optimistic she would beat this cancer because that’s who she is a fighter!! Unfortunately things have made a turn and Christine is struggling. She is home with her family resting on hospice surrounded by her children and husband Mike which is where I know her heart would want to be. I would like to raise money to help offset the costs of medical expenses and everyday bills due to the loss of her substantial income.
