Support Melissa's Children After Loss

My name is Sandra Benevides and I have been best friends with Melissa De Abreu since the first grade. We have shared so many amazing memories together … that will definitely leave an imprint on my heart. She will remain with us until we meet again. We have always remained friends, even considered family. Unfortunately, in 2019, she was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. As a single mother, we all watched her struggle almost every day, but she always had a smile on her face for her family and friends.

For almost 5 long and painful years, she fought for both her children until the very end.

Unfortunately, she lost that battle on June 19, 2024. She leaves behind 2 kids, Owen, who is 13, and Bianca, who is 8 years old.

I am doing this for her children. Any support and help is much appreciated by them and her sister Natasha.
