Hello all!!! See update at the bottom

i am a freelance photographer in Brooklyn NY, working for a company that takes kids portraits in schools, so my schedule depends on the school schedule… a lot of non paid holidays lately… on top of that the government shutdown is about to affect my food stamps, i am a single mom and we are not getting any child support…

My birthday is coming up on november 8th and i would really like to take a break from worrying about being able to pay rent ($2053), bills, and now food… so if you could help us, it would be such a lovely break!

in recent events my grand father fell ill and is in the hospital, not looking great… my brother and i are taking turns to visit him at the hospital and taking care of our grand mother who has dementia and can’t be by herself at all. We are both taking time off from work, as a freelancer it just means nothing is coming in, and we have to take ubers to bring our grand mother back and forth (she cant walk well, she s 93) and make sure she eats. We are tired and a bit hopeless as their insurance doesnt cover home attendance… so we have to be there… anything would help!
