Hello. My name is Melissa Selander. I have had medical problems my whole life and was dismissed by doctors frequently, often just given pain medicine to get me to leave. Well the problems have festered to the point I need a hysterectomy. I'm hoping my insurance covers it. I'm asking for help for recovery costs after surgery for bills and food and copays. I have hidradetinitis suppurativa, hashimotos disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome, adenomyosis, endometriosis, bartholins cysts, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and dysmenorrhoea....along with a plethora of mental health issues I picked up along the way from living in high pain. I have waited 20 years for this surgery and I am tired. I am hopeful but I am broke and I haven't been able to maintain employment after receiving a depot provera shot that kept me bleeding heavy for ten months. I went to the ER over 10 times this year alone, truly believing I was bleeding out. I am behind on copays and I've gone through all the resources I had. I am behind on bills and insurance payments and its come to begging basically... so if you could help me that would be lovely. If not maybe just share this if you like. I would like to know what life feels like without pain. This might help allot. I still have more to go through after this.
