Help Melissa Pettit (Yeager) while she undergoes medical treatment for stage 4 metastatic thyroid cancer.

Melissa was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in the fall of 2022. She's been dealing with the cancer since then, and it has metastasized to her lungs. At this time, Melissa isn't able to work and is trying to focus on treatment and getting better. She currently does not have any income. She applied for Social Security Disability last fall and is now on appeal to try and get benefits. She can also start collecting regular social security in December.

I'm hoping we can pull together to help Melissa get through the next 5 months until she is at least eligible to start collecting regular social security. With our support, she will have one less thing to worry about while going through treatment.

Melissa has lived in Camarillo for 31 years, where she has been an active member in our community, often helping other people in need, and has raised 2 children here who are now adults. Now it's our turn to help her.
