Hello all, my name is Christy my sister Melissa Hage had a bad fall when she went skating at champs with her daughter. She has been bad off since and her spine and back have gotten worse. She fell again not long ago and things have gotten so bad for her. She is bed ridden since Tuesday now at uk hospital until they operate on her. The doctors said it was the worse case they have seen come in here. They are going to do an emergency 8 hour emergency surgery she needs to have rods and pins put in her spine and back to correct everything. It will be a 3 month recovery time. She has tried to contact certain programs for financial help to pay off what she owes, but Is having no luck because they have no more funds for the 2 programs that were available at one point to help. They stopped helping others in June when they ran out of funds. She has called her insurance company,because they said something about being able to help with rent/ utilities. We are praying that they can help her,because the last thing they need right now is to lose their home during all of this. They recently got an eviction notice. I want my sister to be able to recover and not stress about financial issues during this time. Any help would be much appreciated during this difficult time for our family. ❤️
