Dear WhipIt Family,

As you probably know from her most recent post, our beloved leader/creator of this incredible community, Melissa Kirkpatrick, has been going through a very difficult time; it has been a true family emergency. Melissa has not been able to work for several weeks and won't be returning to work until early March. The loss of income has put a strain on her family. Additionally, she is in need of finding a new place to live that can accommodate her son (who has just lost his home as a result of the family emergency). Moving comes with incredible costs. Both she and her son will need counseling, which is not cheap. Melissa has done so much for this beautiful WhipIt family/community, and now it's our time to help her. We are hoping this can be a bit of a buffer for Melissa and her son during this heartbreaking time. All funds raised will go directly to Melissa.

I know people always say this, but it’s true—even if you can only give $5, that could mean a world of difference. Just think, there are 706 members in WhipIt, if everyone gave $5 (the cost of a coffee), we could raise $3,530! If everyone gave $10, well, you can do the math. But please, think about how incredible, and life changing this small contribution would be for Melissa and her son.
