On November 4th, 2024 without warning my job laid me off. I’ve been living on unemployment and going to at least 3 job interviews biweekly. To top it off, as if things couldn’t get any worse I got a stomach bug over the thanksgiving holiday that triggered an extremely painful gallbladder infection. I’m in the most intense pain I’ve been in since childbirth; but I still managed to get myself up and go to job interviews! I have finally secured employment but I don’t start until after the holidays and there is no funding for any of the organizations that I’ve been applying to for rent and utility help. As a result of all this my rent is 2 months past due, my car note and insurance is past due, my unemployment is only $449 a week; with 4 children this is not nearly enough to live off of! And what if I end up needing my gallbladder removed? Everything feels so uncertain right now. Thanks for listening, and if anything please share this and offer a prayer for my little family.
