UPDATE:

Everyone is home and is recovering. She still has a long road of recovery ahead she was discharged 10/16. She is slowly coming back to her normal spunky self. They still can not return to work so all donations will go to bills, food, and other everyday expenses. We thank you again in advance.

My parents, Melissa and Jim, were in a motorcycle accident recently. Melissa is currently in ICU and has been there for a week now.

My father and I have been by her bedside daily, supporting her in the best ways possible.

She is a mother, wife, sister, and an auntie. If you know us, you know we are not the family that usually asks for help, but everyone needs some help here and there.

She has been airlifted, has been on a ventilator, and has undergone jaw surgery which now requires her mouth to be wired shut for 4-6 weeks. She has a PEG to be fed and a tracheostomy to now support her breathing temporarily. She is out of surgery and stable.

She’s a very heartfelt, joy-filled, spunky woman who loves riding the motorcycle, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends and everyone in her life.

As far as her son (Jimmy), her beloved husband (Jim), and myself, her daughter (Arianna), it’s devastating to go through and absolutely heartbreaking to see her in this condition. We're reaching out and asking for any sort of help we can get. Every dollar counts and we can’t thank you enough.
