Hello all! My name is Marina. I'm starting a GoFundMe for my best friend/sister Melissa. She is truly a one-of-a-kind woman. She is the best friend you could ever have. She would give the shirt off her back for anyone and has come into a time of need herself. All the funds donated here would go directly to her and her babies. I met Melissa about 11 years ago. We were young, and I didn't even have my first child yet. Well, in that time, I've had children, and so has she.

After getting pregnant with her third baby, she found out she had cancer. They started it at stage 1, which would have meant chemotherapy until June. However, she chose to keep her baby girl, and they induced her at 32 weeks, meaning a NICU stay. She has a “rare, aggressive cancer.” So, she started treatment soon after having her third baby, but they saw the cancer spread, so it is now stage 3, and treatments will go until at least August.

Melissa has been out of work for quite some time and is now running out of options to keep her household running as she was the sole provider for her children. She is in the hospital 1-2 weeks per month, whether it's for treatment or being sick.

Melissa also had a surgery while pregnant to get one of the larger masses out but they did not want to do another surgery because it would delay Chemotherapy which could make the cancer spread more which would lead into a Stage 4.

We know times are hard, but if you can find it in your heart to donate, share, like, anything, it helps. This is a young mom who is only 30, and her babies need her. We know God will have His way!
