Support Meli's Fight Against a Tumor

Hi! I am Melis mom, my name is Sarah. I got Meli the first day I moved out of my parents house, and have had her throughout all three years of college. She has lived a happy, healthy life up until a few weeks ago. Sometimes she would go potty on my bed, or throw up her food but I didn’t think too much into it. A couple weeks ago a giant mass grew underneath her paw , causing it to bleed uncontrollably. She is not in pain, but she does need surgery to remove the entire mass so the doctors can find out if it is cancerous. I work part time and go to school full time , and unfortunately cannot afford it. For now, we are wrapping it everyday so it doesn’t get infected, until we save up the money to afford her surgery. She is my first pet, my best friend, and who I’m excited to come home to at night. I am terrified that she is sick, and I don’t know what I would do without her.
