Hey guys, my name is Amber Carlson.

I'm reaching out because my mom Melinda(Holly) Majors, she has gotten really sick. Saturday, May 24th, my mom started to get sick. She thought it was a virus. My younger sister Haley Carlson took her to the insta care Tuesday, May 27th. They ran some tests but no clear answers as to why she was sick. I took her to the hospital Friday, May 30th.

They ran multiple tests and got IVs in her. Got her admitted to the hospital and got her in a room. She has pneumonia, her right lung is completely full of fluid, she started to go into kidney failure, and early stages of sepsis.

They have her on antibiotics and are trying to get her oxygen and heart rate stabilized. She'll be in the hospital for at least a week. Anyone who knows my mom knows that she is a caring and strong person! She could use all the love and prayers that she can get.

With all that being said, we know medical bills are going to pile up and with my stepdad Brian Majors being the main provider right now, I'm just trying to help relieve some stress for him and my mom. Their last worries should be medical bills right now.

When she is able to go home, she is going to go home with oxygen hopefully short term. As of June 2nd, She is on 9 liters of oxygen and she has to be down to 3/2 liters of oxygen and maintain good oxygen levels before she can even go home. Her right lung is still full of fluid and her kidneys are still dehydrated but slowly recovering. She is definitely going to have a long recovery road ahead.
