My name is Melinda. I have been a nurse for 32 years and love my profession!❤️ But for the first time in my life, I am the patient, not the nurse. I was changing places of employment and was off work for 1 month waiting for paperwork, approvals of new position, etc. I am happy to say I started my new job on 10/01/25.

However, on just day 3 of my orientation, I found myself in the ER. I have had some strange circulatory problem in my right hand this past month causing severe pain in my right index finger and thumb. My finger turns purple/blue and is painful and cold. Then the tissue on my finger started to die and turn black. I have been transferred to a hospital in Indiana to see a vascular hand surgeon specialist to figure out the cause and hopefully prevent the loss of any of my fingers.

Being out of work for over a month and now being hospitalized before my first paycheck has truly drained my finances and it is very scary!!

So I humbly request that if you can donate any amount to help me through this crisis, I will forever be grateful!! Prayers are ALWAYS welcomed!!
