Hi, my name is Kenna, I’m 15 years old and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my mom, Melinda.

This morning our lives changed completely. My mom felt suddenly weak and had to be rushed to the hospital. Within hours, her condition became critical and she was admitted to the ICU.

She is currently on a ventilator. Doctors have told us she is experiencing acute kidney and liver failure along with severe blood acidosis. Because her kidneys are no longer functioning, they have placed her on continuous dialysis to help support her body.

Right now she is stable, but doctors have warned us that her condition is extremely serious and that anything could change at any moment.

She does not have health insurance, so the cost of ICU care, dialysis, and other medical treatment will be overwhelming. I work part-time after school and will do my best to keep up with the bills for our home, but am asking for donations to help with the huge pending medical charges we’re about to face.
