This is a humble call out to friends, family and kind folks.

My sister, Melinda, beloved mother of 2 and educator, needs our help. She was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to her liver. She is a passionate teacher and unfortunately has been taken out of work.

This form of cancer is inoperable, so doctors are currently working towards a treatment plan that will give Melinda the best chance of success. She has two beautiful high schoolers and a classroom of students that we want to see her return to.

During this time of being out of work, we are asking for any amount of donation that you are able to provide as we don’t know when she will be able to return. Funds will go towards Melinda's medical expenses, rent, food, bills ect. for the remainder of the year.
