Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits to ask for support for my sister, Melinda, who was recently diagnosed with stage two ovarian cancer. This diagnosis has turned her world — and all of ours — upside down. Melinda is someone who has always put others first. She is strong, compassionate, and resilient, the kind of person who shows up for everyone without hesitation. Now, she is facing the fight of her life.

Due to the severity and progression of the cancer, Melinda must undergo an extensive surgery. This is a major, life-altering procedure that comes with a long recovery period, physical and emotional challenges, and significant medical expenses. Beyond the surgery itself, there will be hospital stays, follow-up treatments, medications, and time away from work as her body heals. As you can imagine, the financial burden that comes with cancer treatment adds an overwhelming layer of stress during an already terrifying time. Our goal is to ease that burden so Melinda can focus on what matters most: healing, resting, and fighting this cancer with everything she has.

Funds raised will go directly toward medical bills and surgical expenses, post-operative care and recovery needs, medications and follow-up treatments, and living expenses during her recovery period. No amount is too small, and every donation, share, prayer, and kind message means more than words can express.
