Melea's daughter has always tried to be strong and push through life's challenges without asking for help. Recently, however, she has faced a series of overwhelming difficulties. After breaking her ankle, she was forced to take time off work to recover. During this time, she also contracted influenza, which made her recovery even harder. Because of the time she needed to heal, her employer let her go, leaving her without a steady income. To make matters worse, her roommate is moving out, so she is now responsible for half the rent on her own. Despite these setbacks, she has been actively searching for a new job and trying to stay positive.

On top of everything else, Melea's daughter lives with POTS disease, a condition that affects her daily life and requires her to have a service dog for support. She has also recently dislocated her shoulder, which meant she had to wear a sling at work before losing her job. The weight of these ongoing health issues, combined with her financial struggles, has led to severe depression. She is now struggling to afford her medications for both POTS disease and depression, making it even harder to cope and recover.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping her cover essential expenses like rent, utilities, food, gas, caring for her service dog, and her much-needed medications.
