On February 13, 2026, our Aunt Melba was involved in a devastating accident when she was run over by a car in a parking lot while walking back to her car during errands. Since then, she has been facing serious challenges, including a significant leg injury and a wound that has not been able to heal on its own. Melba will now require multiple surgeries to repair the damage, along with ongoing medical care. As she navigates this difficult recovery, she will need support with costs associated with transportation to appointments, doctor visits and copays, wound care supplies, home care services, and necessary medications.
