Hi everyone! My name is Valentine, and I’m raising money for a cause that means a lot to me. My grandfather was battling Melanoma for 3 years. What started as “soft tissue” melanoma in his eye, metastasized to his liver and eventually taking over his body. He lived an amazing life and fulfilled such beautiful accomplishments that I never want his life and legacy to be forgotten. Melanoma is the most serious and deadly form of skin cancer, arising from the pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) when they grow uncontrollably. We do not have enough research to begin finding a cure and my goal is to raise awareness and continue raising money towards this research. Help me honor my grandfather as well as the 330,000 people who get diagnosed every year around the world.
