Support Melanie's Medical Recovery

My name is Skyler Wolfe, and Melanie Vergara is my dearest partner. On August 14th, 2024, Melanie was rushed to the hospital from work with extreme abdominal pain. We found out that she needed to undergo urgent gallbladder surgery. The next 4 days we spent in the hospital together, during which she also had another procedure done that would’ve put her in critical condition if it had not been done.

As you can imagine, this sudden health emergency has taken a toll on her physically, emotionally, and financially.

Mel is the kind of person who is always there for others—whether it’s offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or making someone laugh!

Due to this unexpected surgery, Mel has been advised to not work for at least two weeks so she can fully recover.

Unfortunately, this means she will be without income during this period. As we all know, even a short time without a paycheck can be incredibly stressful, especially when unexpected medical bills and daily living expenses are piling up.
