Help Melanie Heal and Reopen Water’s Edge Spa
Our dear friend Melanie, a dedicated single mother of two and an active, cherished member of our community, is facing a challenging road ahead. She is still recovering from injuries caused by a serious dog attack. On January 9th, she will undergo shoulder surgery to repair double labrum tears—an unavoidable step in her healing process. This surgery, along with the long recovery period, will leave her unable to work for six months.
As the owner of Water’s Edge Spa, Melanie has always poured her heart into creating a sanctuary of care and relaxation for others. Sadly, the spa will be closed this winter during her recovery, leaving her without an income to support her family or cover essential medical and living expenses.
Her friends and family are rallying together to organize this fundraiser to support her recovery and ensure she can reopen Water’s Edge Spa in summer 2025 after a full and successful recovery.
