In Loving Memory of Melanie

Hi, my name is Michaela, and I’m creating this GoFundMe in honor of my beautiful sister, Melanie. Last night, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy when Melanie’s life was taken far too soon in a senseless hit-and-run. She was only 30 years old.

Melanie was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet — a devoted daughter, sister, and most of all, a loving mother to her sweet 1-year-old boy, Oliver. She poured her entire heart into being his mom, and it breaks mine to know he’ll grow up without her love and laughter lighting up his days.

Our family is heartbroken and trying to process this devastating loss. As we begin to plan her funeral and honor her life, we’re asking for help to cover the unexpected expenses that come with such a tragedy. Any amount, no matter how small, will help us give Melanie the farewell she deserves and support our family as we navigate this painful time.
