This is actually for my daughter who is in the pictures. I am Melanie Petersen. She turned 29 a couple of weeks ago. She’s been dealing with blood transfusions since she was 13-14. Now her latest bone marrow results said she has blood and bone marrow cancer plus lupus. It’s eating away at her organs. Her liver and spleen are severely enlarged. She loses a pint of blood a week. She has been given 4 years. Her government insurance pays very little and won’t cover chemo if we get to that. She’s looking at bone marrow and possible organ transplants. All she wants is dentures so she can eat and smile again. It also has eaten away at her teeth. Her wish before she dies is a hot air balloon ride. Anything you can do to help her with her mounting hospital bills and possibly teeth would be a mother’s greatest wish. She said she’s getting tired of fighting. It breaks my heart and I know she doesn’t have long. I just want to try to make what little time she has left the best. Thank you for listening.
