Hi. I am Melanie Wagner’s sister. She and her family are in need of some help. Yesterday morning a fire started in their bathroom that caused extensive smoke and water damage causing their house to not be livable for the next few months. Fortunately, the kids were already at school, her husband was at work, and she was in the basement working remotely with her dogs by her side. The smoke alarms started going off which made her go upstairs to find the bathroom covered in flames and smoke. She and the dogs were able to get out unharmed.

They are able to stay in a hotel with the dogs for the next few nights until they can find a long term rental. Their insurance company and the restoration company is helping them, but they are in need of personal items since most of their clothes have smoke damage. Anything you can do to help them during this time would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
