Mel Rice Ceramica is a community backed studio located in the Outer Richmond of San Francisco. As a first generation Latina she single handedly built her ceramics studio from the ground up. She teaches ceramics to at-risk youth that otherwise would not be exposed to the arts. She has built a wonderful community around her studio. 

Due to the coronavirus, we have had to close the studio to keep everyone safe. We miss the community more than ever and can't wait for everything to get back to normal. 

In the meantime, this go-fund-me is asking for help to support the community during these tough times. If you are fortunate enough to help out, it would truly mean the world to Mel and all of her students and members if you would help support.
