On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026, in Worksop, Notts, our dear friends Mel and Gareth, along with their son's Rohan and Aris, daughter Lyssia, and their precious 1-year-old granddaughter Eleanor, experienced every family’s worst nightmare.

​A fire broke out in their home, and fueled by the day's high winds, the situation turned catastrophic in an instant. Within just 8 minutes, the roof had collapsed.

While we thank our lucky stars that everyone made it out safely, the family has been left with absolutely nothing other than the clothes on their back, In less than ten minutes, a lifetime of memories, clothing, toys, and essentials vanished.

We are coming together to help the Marsh family find their footing during this heartbreaking time. We want to help them purchase the essentials they need for the immediate future as they begin the long process of rebuilding.
