Support Mehdi in a bone marrow transplant journey

Mehdi is a 28-years-old young man living in Nazarabad county, Alborz Province, with his beloved family, including his parents and two siblings. In February of 2020, Mehdi was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Since then, he has been undergoing treatment, but he has experienced bone marrow failure. According to his doctor's recommendation, a bone marrow transplant (BMT) is the only potential treatment for his case. BMT, which is also known as blood stem cell transplant, can treat patients who have ALL, including adult patients.

The good news is there is a perfect match for Mehdi at Hellenic Transplant Organization’s bone marrow bank in Greece. However, the international transport of bone marrow costs 21,000 Euros, which is financially unthinkable for Mehdi and his family, already burdened by the costs of his ongoing treatment.
