Support Meaghan’s Fight Against Ovarian Cancer

Dear Friends & Family,

For everyone that knows Meg, she is a source of positivity, love, laughter, and she leaves every place brighter than she found it. After many scans, tests, appointments, undergoing a 13 hour surgery that involved a full hysterectomy and bowel resection, and many days in the hospital recovering, Meg was diagnosed with Stage 4b Ovarian Cancer. In the upcoming weeks, she will begin chemotherapy to continue fighting the fight against cancer. Although this is a scary time beginning a new and unknown journey, we are very optimistic that she will achieve complete remission and beat this cancer completely. Nothing will ever stop her!

As a mother of three busy girls and being a working early intervention SLP, these next few months caring for her children and experiencing their new normal for the time being will be very difficult. At this time, we are asking everyone whose lives have been impacted by Meg to rally around her in a show of support. Whether that's through a phone call, text, prayers, good thoughts, or donations to lessen the load of any financial burden, anything helps. Our goal is to provide as much support to her as possible so that she has the space to focus all of her energy on her well-being and healing.

Meaghan is immensely grateful for the outpouring of love and positivity she has already received from friends and loved ones near and far. Please continue to keep Meg in your prayers and thoughts. As she has shared with many of us: “I got this!”
