Support Meg's Battle Against Breast Cancer

If you know Meg, and everyone knows Meg, you know she's everyone's best friend. She loves fiercely: her daughter, her family, her friends, her patrons. She's always first to show up whenever you need help.

And now, today, she needs our help.

After a routine self-check, Meg discovered a large lump in her right breast. Doctors worked quickly to get her in. After numerous appointments, it was discovered that she has invasive ductal carcinoma, otherwise known as breast cancer. Although it was caught early, it is aggressive.

Meg will need to spend months in chemotherapy and radiation treatments, as well as surgery, which will keep her out of work.

While she has applied for disability, there's no guarantee she will be approved. And, approval or not, they will not inform her of their decision for a minimum of 3-4 months from now. Not sustainable as a young mom. So, despite it being hard to ask for help, sometimes life is hard and we get dealt a sucky hand.

We have created this GoFundMe to help her in the interim with her housing, food, utilities and heating security, credit card payments, and holidays for her young daughter. General everyday expenses.

We want to ensure that Meg does not have to worry about anything other than her treatment, her daughter, and getting better.
